Ford Racing 3 / Steering Wheel Problem

I just got Ford Racing 3 and have problems setting up my logitech momo
steering wheel. Everything works fine except the calibration of the wheel.
There is no reaction to a certain point and then an abrupt.

I don't understand the calibrate configuration in the options menu. How
does that work?
