Nick,

I have the same version as you andI don't have that problem and maybe
you don't either.  I'm not sure how your scenery disappears and under
what circumstances.  I live near Laguna Seca and I've been there many
times.  There is a very steep elevation difference through the corkscrew
and when you're at the top, you really cannot see the bottom.  It does
make it tricky.

If  you're referring to your car disappearing in the out-of-car view, it
is a documented bug.

To correct it, drive from the***pit view :-)

Jason.

It's on the ICR2 readme file .It disappears only if you're driving from
behind the car.If you're on the***pit, the bug doesn't show up.

"***** Laguna Seca Arcade Views *****

When driving Laguna Seca in the Arcade Views, your car will temporarily
disappear when going through the corkscrew turn.  This will not occur
if you drive from the***pit view."

That's it

This will also correct his outrageous abuse/waste of a *sim*!
