When you say disconnected do you mean unhooked or disabled in BIOS. You
should have to set a mobo jumper to really make Windows forget that card is
there.

I bought a Voodo 3 2000 PCI 16MB Card last night. I installed the card
and it works ; however, it only works in 640x480. When I try to adjust
it to 800x600 the screen gets real dark and I can barely see the screen.
Does anyone have a clue what might be wrong?

My system:
Celeron 300a
64MB RAM PC100
Eurone 7347S Motherboard

The motherboard has 8MB of AGP video memory and I disconnected the card
but under device manager it has two display adapters Voodoo3 and
Sis6326. I try removing Sis6326 but Windows recognizes it when I reboot
and reinstalls it. Of course I have the Voodoo 3 selected as the display
adapter.

Any suggestions.

I have unhooked the old video adapter from the motherboard and disabled it in
BIOS. There really isn't a card, the AGP memory is a chip on the motherboard.

Thanks,

Kerry Grant

There must be some experts out there that will know - I wondered whether you
could disable it in this hardware profile in device manager. Or pehaps you
need to run regedit and delete all reference to the SiS display device.
