1. Name it Championship Racing 99.
2. License the FedEx CART symbol.
3. License ALL drivers, no matter how much EA charges for Andretti's name.
4. Allow for addons for future engines, tires, chassis, tracks.
5. Free internet multi-player.  We will not pay.
6. Make the cars turn on the front wheels, not the center of gravity.
7. Better paint kit.

With Japan and Brazil (hopefully) joining in the sim, why not give
it a more interational name (with CART attached)?  CART's name
has to be on it somewhere, if not for the license, then at least for
some form of product recognition (I would think).

Duh, kinda' goes without saying, no?

Charge both EA and Andretti for the priveledge of having even
been considered for (what may turn out to be) the hottest sim ever.

Let's hope some form of editing is possible, at least so they don't
take Ubi's approach to locking the thing up tighter than a nat's...
<insert appropriate orifice description here>

Speak for yourself.  I would cheerfully pay for the service only if
the quality and commitment were there, and done in-house, rather
than farmed out to TEN (or whomever)...Logistical nightmare
otherwise.

I guess you haven't been paying attention to what Papyrus has
been up to lately?  6-point physics will no doubt be in there.

All I ask is that one be included, I'll take care of the rest.  =)

Cheers!

Forget it. The word is that MS have exclusive rights to on-line CART
racing.

Kali style is the best we can hope for with 'Fed Ex Racing' :((

by mid 99 we should all have cable modems so KAIL might actually work
fine

Not unless they fix the fact that all outgoing data must be sent over
the phone line.  As cable modem systems now work, you only receive data
over the cable all outgoing traffic must use your phone line.

Bit difficult to use a cable modem if your area isn't cabled and there
are no plans for it to be cabled either :(

Richard

1.)  In ICR2 the car wonders on the straights that should be fixed when you
have wheel centred the car supposed to remain straight.
2.)  I've noticed in ICR2 the car manges to get oversteer at 30 mph on a
straight that is very unrealistic.
3.)  And finally if your wheels touches the grass or sand your car should not
go into a spin.  Because in real racing youy never see cars oversteering in
sand or grass.  Other than that it does not need  much work.

You appear to have ICR2/CART Racing (and the Papyrus
successor in 1999) confused with MS-CPR (CART Precision
Racing by Microsoft.

I'ld rather fork out for a fixed link than go back to living in a city
;-)

More likely I'll go ISDN within 6 months as it might finally become
affordable in the UK by Summer. After that there's xDSL on the horizon. I
think I can keep living in the country... <vbg>

Cheers,
Richard
