Ok, i'm pulling my hair out! I've tried fakecd and it just doesn't seem to
work.
I still dont know how to remove the cd-check in the nascar2.exe file.
What do i do......

Maybe i'm using fakecd incorrectly?

fakecd D:\nascar2 /L:F

Now i have nascar2 installed on my D drive and i have a cd-rom as drive E,
Could it
be the cd-rom that's screwing it up??Or does somebody know how to remove
the
cd-check from the .exe

I'd also like to thank the guy's that responded so quickly the first time.

Thanks
Rad

You need to use fake CD as the same CD as yuour CD-ROM Drive! /L:E not
/L:F. Thats where you installed it from in the first place, right?

All I do is type NASCAR2 to start the games without the CD.
Always been that way.

Simply type "Nascar2" (without the quotes) instead of N2 in
your Nascar 2 directory on your hard drive to start the game
without the CD. It has always been that way for me since  I
got the games and I have not edited any files to get it this
way.
