XP + P4-1500 + GeForce + MSFF + VROC = wow! :-)

And to think I thought GPL looked good before... every setting up to
the max, detail slider at about 80%, and totally smooth all the way,
back of Monza grid included. I *like* it :-)))))))))

Now all I have to do is re-install Castle Combe, Le Mans, Bremgarten,
Solitude, Carsound, Replay Analyser, ump*** replays, the GPLEA cars,
Goodwood, Snetterton, Crystal Palace, GPLAIM2, Bathurst, the track
manager, Ringtrainer, the 3D tyres and some decent sounds... and by
that time GPL2 will be out :-)

Yep, GPL seems to keep up with everything else that gets released
graphically IMHO. Thanks to everyone in the sim community who has made
it so.

Glad to hear that you are up and running OK. I have just aquired an almost
identical system, the only difference being that my machine has a P4-1800
and I'm still using a gameport MSFF with the crappy onboard windows driver.
The new one will have to wait till next month. Have we Been to the PC World
sales by any chance? <G>

I have one question. What drivers are you using with the Geforce card? I am
using the very same one and although I have GPL running, I'm getting a pause
in the graphics in a pulsating fashion about every three seconds. It's a bit
like the machine is hitting the pause button on a video player. Any comments
would be appreciated
