Please help: my MSFF doesn't center right

Did you try to calibrate it?  Seems to me most people don't have a clue how to
calibrate their MSFF.

Turn FF off.
Center the wheel.
Unplug the power from the back of the wheel.
Wait
Plug the power back in.
Turn on the FF and ..
Voila.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I have an strange problem. My MSFF doesn't center my wheel staight anymore.
It's a little bit to the left when FF 'centers' it. This is very annoying
when driving GPL , because you instinvtively try to correct this and as a
result drive into the walls.

I don't know how to solve this problem.

Please help.

Ditto for me. Pwer off, full left, power on.  Works like a charm,
thought it shouldn't be necessary.

As I recall, there is something in the documentation (or somewhere) about
making sure the wheel is centered when you turn on the computer.  This means
if you have it sitting on its side under the desk or something like that,
the wheel may be slightly askew and it will start out thinking that is the
center position.

I had the same problem with my Logitech FF wheel for awhile and nothing I
did would correct it. If any of the other suggestions don't work then go to
http://www.wingmanteam.com/Latest_Software/Gadgets/gadgets.htm#ClearC...
and get the ClrCalib.exe file. It goes through your registry and removes all
traces of any game controllers that you have but when you reinstall them the
centering should be correct. If not then I suspect that there's a problem
with your wheel.
