I got the last one at my local EB, and they weren't even on the shelves yet.

I don't know your system specs, but you might want to check your
memory timing, and check to make sure the video crd and cpu are not
overlcocked..  You could also try running hte game suing the "safe"
settings in the bios and see if the game crashes.

Did you try the final release demo?  I'm guessing they never fixed 2k2
so the same problem may be there in 2k3.  Good LUCK lad.

So far, no freezes (just liek the press demo). I need to do some more
testing to be sure.

It did do one thing the press demo did a few times though. After an online
race ended and I exited the track and was watching the end of the race in
the small replay window, the computer suddenly rebooted. Had to use the
sytem restore feature in XP to get things going again.

My EB staff is nothing but a bunch of frag heads. When DTR2 (Dirt Track
Racing) came out I went and asked for it. They told me that there was no way
that a second one was out 'all ready'. After going back and forth a few
times he says Dead To Rights. Should have seen his face when I asked him WTF
that was.  lol

Might be more productive to find the problem with your computer and fix it.

It's not like everyone is having these issues...

But if only ONE program out of how ever many he owns has problems, why would
you automatically assume it's a problem in his computer?

Both our theories are right :)
