CPR Full version is out!!

MS's CPR is out. Got a copy at EB today....I'm running a PII266 with
Stealth II and Orchid Righteous...64 meg of RAM....Frankly, I can't
imagine putting more into a racing game than has been done here.  The
game will take considerable time to get good at but I would venture that
this will become the definitive Indy car simulator within a short period
of time.....There are some minor bugs that I've noted so far
particularly in the Instant Replay and Driving School modules....but the
frame rate is gut wrenching fast and the graphics are state of the art.
Some firsts....Picture in Picture....panning***pit view (it pans
automatically....this can be turned off)...animated pit stops....talking
mechanic in garage with tips on car tuning....haven't fully explored but
it certainly is a serious attempt at simulating the CART circuit. I own
Indycar Racing II and find CPR to be the more exciting of the two
sims.............BTW....the Dolby Sound doesn't seem to operate properly
in CPR.....anyone else notice this?

Martin:

CPR is the best.  And when you combine it with free racing at the
www.zone.com with 16 players what else could you ask for.

I hope they do a stock car racing game soon..

Hi, I have a similar system with 32 MB RAM and Millenium 4 MB. Just wondering
if the graphic demand on the system is as great on the retail version as the
 trial version?

Uh, let's see here.....

I believe we have the problem... if you're going through
AOL to get to the Zone - yes, definitely - good luck!
The minimum latency I've ever seen going ANYWHERE
through AOL is about 500ms... More often than not, I
get 600 to 750ms latency...

I haven't tried it through another ISP yet myself, but
from the way others are talking, the Zone works great...
