Power F1 Problems

I have Power F1 running on a P233 MMX with a
crystal s/c and Matrox Mystique. I have 24MB
installed but every time I run the game  I also
get an annoying error type continuous beep from
my PC speaker which does not go off. Setsound
works fine and the game works well apart from
this. How do I get rid of it. If I exit and run
EDIT.EXE it switches off the beep. I am running
it in Dos 6.22 as I only have win 3.1

sounds strange. just out of interest how often do you need your pc
speaker ? some people don't even connect em nowadays. if you can't
find another solution, just open your case and unplug the cable to
your speaker.
