Im thinking this is the ONLY way for them to hear us!
My example: I had a question about thier pedals (pro dig2) not able to use
split axis in Winxp (let alone NO support for Win2000), and if a driver was
in the works.
Man..there are SO many people on their website
(http://www.racesimcentral.net/) forums looking for help and NO ONE
is answering...NO ONE! (but they HAVE prettied up thier web site
tho.whooppeee!)
I even emailed all the corporate contacts (with a nice, polite message) on
the site..and got NOTHING back...good way to treat the people that bought
their products, huh?...So..I call out to all the frustrated TM owners out
there..be heard, pass the word around..they should take a lesson from
Act-Labs..they have excellent support. Go to their website and voice your
concerns..Lord knows I have been..thank you for your time....Michael

Not sure what happened to them , but years ago their service was awesome. If
you needed a part. Just email them and they would send it right out for
free.

Actually Thrustmaster went belly up about a year and a half ago, but the
name got purchased by Guillemot(they bought the Hercules name as well).  Old
name, new company...New problems...

They got bought out by Guillemot (SP?), a French compnay. Not the same
company they once were at all - literally.

Buy TSW. Never replace a wheel again. Customer service? They are the model.

hmmm, I don't have the "2", I have the Pro Digital and it works ok in
XP with split axis if you're referring to the brakes/gas pedal.

I'm using a 3 axis 8 button driving controller. Might want to check on
that.  And again, maybe there's some major diff between the Pro Dig
and the "2" but basically the same scenario worked in W2K Pro, and it
was just fine.

pro dig 2....I looked and searched EVERYWHERE on my hard drive (and
registry) to find anything thrusmaster, thrustmapper, pro dig,
and deleted it all..everything...but keeps telling me I have a pro dig as a
controller when I plug it in..cant get to where I can choose my
controller...SOMEWHERE, somehow its referencing Thrusmaster drivers...help?

Thrustmaster exists in name only.  THe people behind the original company
have all left and started that 'Talk n Play' web/voice chat thingy.  A
French company called Guillemot owns the Thrustmaster company and products.
I have heard in the past their web-response has been week, but if you call
directly to customer service you get much better and quicker response.

The old owners were awesome.  I remember them posting on Prodigy back
in the old days (early 90's) and many of us Falcon3 ladder guys bought
their products.  When we had a problem or broke a stick, or anything
they sent us a new one.  Even up until they were sold they were still
sending out free parts, NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

The new Thrustmaster sucks.

I was just over at the Thrustmaster site reading some of the stuff on their
forums.  Some programmer or important person for Thrustmaster said that
there will soon be updated drivers for Pro Digital 2 owners who use XP.
That is good news, as right now I cannot get split axes to work with XP.

Well, they didn't have split axis drivers for win2k for my nascar pro (not
digital).  They said they would try to patch it, but don't hold your breath
on how long.  I reformatted a few weeks ago, and went back to the site to
download the nascar pro drivers they have there (non split-axis).  Guess
what?  they're gone!  There's no mention of the nascar pro on their website
anymore, as if it no longer existed!  Don't have to patch something that
doesn't exist I guess.
Tech support was quick to answer the phone however.  But, they took
somethign like 5 days of me constabntly calling to find out they screwed up
the driver and would have to patch it.  "that must have slipped through
testing or something...." Split-Axis?!? the major selling point of that
wheel?!?

whatever.
