I think I found a New Bug?

O.K. This might have been discussed before but I'll tell you what I
found. Now I was racing at Pocono and I was in the lead. Then my Spotter
calls out and say "cars all over the place in turn one." So for Ha Ha's,
I decided to check out what happened on replay. I finally found out what
happened. A car had spun out and hit the wall. Now comes the Prob. All
the other cars either hit the car that spun or moved around to avoid it.
Well, one car came to a dead stop, then another car RAN RIGHT THROUGH
THE CAR THAT STOPPED!!!!! I kept playing the replay over and over and
every time that one car ran right through the car that had stopped. No
damage at all to either of the cars. Last time I checked if a car is
going to hit another car, they don't go through them. You figured the
car that had stopped would of had massive rear end damage and the car
that hit him would have massive front end damage, even a blown moter.
Anyone else have this type of problem? Just woundering.

I saw a major wreck are c***te on replay. Cope had spun, then
Sterling ran into him and they were both done for the day.

I've seen this happen a couple of times.

Hey Matt,
I have driven right through cars 3 times now and its not
just at pocono. its very weird when you think you're
going to rearend someone and you just keep going
right through them with out a crashing sound or wreck.

Yes, but what sucks is when you start driving thru the other cars, and
then the program realizes what happened, and corrects it (i.e.,
damage, etc) and then, you're stuck!  like watching a dog in heat!

Get the hose! get the hose!

I think this problem has been around forever. I've seen it in ICR, ICR2, N1
and now N2. The AI cars are equipped with a hyper-dimensional displacement
field generator which, when activated, allows them to share the same
physical 3D space at the same time without incurring damage.

Try multiplayer racing: Sometimes the dialup car starts the race inside an
AI car and neither car takes damage.

Whoa! Where do they sell those things? I've gotta put one on my real car!
And I hope they don't use up alot of energy, my newly installed ionic
photon thrust converter sets me down to about 45% as it is.

Why, the same place I bought my super-octave melody header seam.
If they're out (very popular here on the Ilse of Nid), you can get them
at any store that also sells the True-Value left-handed hydraulic toenail
extractor and combination pocket knife. ;)

You can't activate the IPTC at the same time as the HDFG, as the HDFG uses
up 75% of the output of that big old powerplant under the hood. That's why
the cars always slow dramatically when the HDFG field is activated. <g>
