two items...I go to my Credit Union(Bank) and talk with a Loan officer
I've known for years...he's waaay too easy with credit and keeps giving
me money for stupid things like cars and home repair.
Well his name is Eldon...but I go in today...(can ya see where this is
going?) and I ask to see "ELDRED!" dangnabbit...are you gonna give me
money like Eldon does? :)
2nd...I'm in the Doctor's office, also today, waiting for my son to have
his head examined....Seriously a Cat Scan...Don't ask me why...I told
the Doc he doesn't have any cats in his head, but the guy
insisted...Doggonnut. So I'm reading a two or three month old Popular
Science magazine while my Son is getting his head bombarded with all
sorts of cosmic rays...Not to worry tho...I'm sure he does worse
everytime he fires up the headphones.
But in the magazine is a feature on 2001 and 2002 upcomming cars. The
new/old Thunderbird, a Merced C car etc...one of them was under the
Cadillac banner, but it didn't look like a Caddy....sure enough, my RAS
trained eye spotted the Holden Commodore nose piece. As if American car
makers don't have enough problems, GM is gonna bring in a car that
drives upside down....I never would have known that without all you
constantly filling my head with info...thanks all.

Of course, I was laughing at the way you worded your statement. Not the fact
that your son needed a Cat Scan...sorry if it sounded 'weird'.

Don't worry, to you and Andrew, thanks for the thoughts, he
really is fine. He's had an increasing series of Migraine headaches and
we were trying to pin down if there was any physical reason, hence why
the good Doctor was scanning inside my son's head for cats. The report
came back all is well, except he shouldn't be having the headaches in
the first place.
I'm toying with the idea of taking away caffiene but I think he would
cease to breath if I did that..hahah
I tend to make light of most situations and some folks have found that
wierd...If they saw how badly I drive they would understand better I
guess!

I've seen you drive...:-)

Sorry to hear about your kid Dave, my dad had Migraine headaches all his
life, so I have a vague idea about what he's going through, the good
news though, is that this "disease" is now being taken seriously and
more and more people are getting help for it, if nothing else by proper
medication to take the "edge" of the headaches and keep the number of
"attacks" down, instead of just prescribing pain killers as they used to
do, and which caused my dad some serious liver damage after all those
years
