Hockenheim seems to be coming together nicely as well :-)

Can I make a request for a Monaco graphics update .... on a video of old
GP newsreel footage (mainly 50s and 60s) they show in a clip from the
Monaco GP in the mid 60s a road sign halfway up the hill which says (in
french of course) "no speed or noise" ... if someone is updating the
Monaco graphics then this would be an amusing addition (though I suspect
someone ought to check that it was still there in '67!)

That is something that has always bothered me as well, when I see old
footage of Monaco race, it's always in black and white. Yet...games like
GPL and GP3 INSIST on colorizing the buildings and streets. I want
realism! Ve MUST HAF Ze BLACK und Ze White!

GP3 as well still?? It's time for a color tv then! ;-)

aargh ... I was going to make the same comment when I got round to
adding some comments from what I'd seen on this video ... but forgot to.
Ok, other than the general addition of colour for which the video shows
no historical precedent (:-) Papyrus seem also to have sent a team of
street cleaners, sign painters and general tidy-up-ers around the course
as in the newsreel everything looks decidedly more grubby and tatty than
in GPL.
However it was sufficiently recognisable for my 4 year-old son to see
the chicane at Monaco and say "look Daddy - that's where you crash" (he
also describes Monaco as "bridge, tunnel, crash" :-)

Hehe, to follow up on myself, yesterday night I did my first run (in
1st gear, lol) on a banked oval. Raytracing worked (although yet far
from optimal)!
Will try to put it up before I go skiing.

Couldn't you just turn the colour down on your monitor? ;P
