What perfect timing..
I just put together my first ever web page (of course, it's about GPL!).
Whilst I only have the Monza page completed, with the news of the Monza demo
about to be released (see below), I think this is a perfect opportunity for
me to introduce it to the world.. check it out at
http://www.racesimcentral.net/~drbryan/gpl/

I take a closer look at the configuration of the track as it was back in the
old days. There had been discussion (and confusion!)here about the "banking"
section, and so I look at it in greater detail.

It has come to my attention (a whilst back, actually), that the future of
the track itself is in limbo. There are groups at work wanting to have the
track demolished. At first, it was just the banking that they wanted torn
down, but more recently, the entire track has been put in jeopardy. Thanks
to Chris Balfe, a petition was drafted, and with the many "signatures" on
it, we hope to keep the track alive. He has had many notables sign,
including Sir Jack Brabham, Phil Hill, Jody Scheckter, and Stirling Moss
sign. Please head over to my page and sign the petition, as a piece of
racing history is about to be destroyed.
Chris will be sending the petition in next week, so please act quickly!

Thanks,
doktorB

P.S. - let me know what you think of the site so far (the one page, anyhow).
Like I said, it's my first attempt at a page, and there will be much more to
come in the future. Next up is Mosport, with (when I get my scanner working)
some present day photos.

their next issue that is due out next week! You can buy this issue today at
the CeBit Home computer show in Hannover, Germany.
