On my home machine it works fine. AMD duron 650 Abit KT7 Mobo with via
133 and Voodoo 5 5500.

But on my work laptop I get no textures on the car, only white. Compaq
M700, Intel PIII 700, ATI Rage Mobility graphix card.

Nut then the laptop market is a niche you don't have to consider :-)

Ahh that must be that large texture size. I am surprised it works on my
work machine with a cheapy integrated intel card, I would have thought
if it worked on this it would work on anything,

Well, it works . . . not to say that it works well at all, but it...runs. in
Full Screen mode, I get no textures--just a white car. In windowed mode, I get
software graphics (apparently). PII400mhz, 64MB RAM, Voodoo2 card :sigh: I
didn't expect it to run well, so don't feel bad. :)

Ash I'm using 1.2 athlon & V5500 and the program doesn't work it just
returns to desktop on both full & window modes

What color depth, its not a 16bit problem is it?
