Looks like the english release of GTR is coming out mid March.

I'd rather just order the German version now to play with my brother.  Are
there any reasons to wait for the new release?  And would they both be
compatible in multiplayer?

Also, if they release the game in the US, I assume it would be priced in US
dollars, so the final price wouldn't end up being ~$80 due to currency
exchange rates and shipping.  Anyone have thoughts on that?

I don't think the price is going to be any more than any other retail
game.  It won't be an import when it gets released here ;).
I'd say go for it - anything they add for the English release will also
get added for a German install.
I haven't had any issues with the English patches - only thing I miss
is the track commentary for the track maps (I remember it actually
being useful in the demo).

Still showing Feb 25 release date on Sendit.com. Where is the mid-March
