>Live and learn I guess.

It doesn't hurt to let the original poster know about his faux pas so he
can "live and learn", but I guess you're right, there'll always be someone
to step up to plate and take his place. :(

"........deserved the win in Germany"

I absolutely disagree.
If not for the safety cars and restart
there is no way he could have caught up
with the Mclarens.

this race was just random chance
for all the drivers, just look at all those
freak accidents etc.

but on the otherhand , I cried with Rubens
when he was on the podium.
I now understand the emotions that go with
a win / also the emotions that went with
a lost ( Mika )

Looks to me like Schumacher forced Fisichella almost off the track (according
to the replay views I saw)

I think Fisichella was already on his brakes when Schumacher crossed his
path,
on the slowmo-replay I could see his left hand flicking the paddle behind
the wheel

The thing is Greg that Barrichello's slick would just cool down in the
wet stadium but the Mclaren boys wets would have been shagging
themselves in the dry.  Or are you alluding to the fact that
Barrichello may have had some electronic help ;-)

Regards Mike

>Yes he did. After staying out in slicks (such as they are) while
>everyone ran rain tires, he certainly deserved to win. I was
>very interested in the fact that the Mclaren drivers said it
>was totally impossible for them to drive the car in slicks
>and they had to change their tires.

Nope I never considered traction control funniness. But now
that you mention it, maybe the FIA should check that Ferrari :-)
It was clear the Mclaren boys thought there was no way they
could drive in the wet part of the track without wet tires.
