Looking for a track converter for GPL
I would like to convert IMS from N3 to use in GPL

anyone know where I can get a converter
or the track already converted?

I find that in my profession, people tend to do a better job when they
get paid.

 How does your work?

Maybe we would have better toys to play with if people quit looking
for a free ride.  I'll gladly pay the price of a meal at a decent
restaurant for a product that will give me many hours of
entertainment.

Cheers!

There are free track converters around, an oval converter and a demo
converter, both from David Noonan (get them at www.theuspits.com), but
they only conver a couple of tracks, and the AI from those converters
stink. Really, do yourself a favour and buy the complete converter,
you won't regret it.
By the way, wasn't the expression '***' instead of 'twit'?

I think the convertor you're referring to was the prototype of the one that
we're now paying Dave Noonan for. If I recall correctly it could only
convert a couple of tracks from N2 and/or ICR2. The full convertor is able
to handle them all (N2,N3,ICR2). You might try the Pits or a few other usual
spots for the limited version. IMO the full version is worth the money.

Nope, they're two separate words. Used in certain ways, though, they can
often mean the same thing :-)

I second that..
I don't have any problem whatsoever forking out just 15 quid for something
that I know adds so much to the sim.

I can't remember if IMS was one of the tracks that the free converter
did, it can be found at "The Pits"

If you're talking about the converter that was briefly discussed at
GPLEA's forum and other places, this was a hacked version of David
Noonan's converter AFAIK

Beers and cheers
