What program is AVG? Who makes it? I haven't had any problems, and AV
programs have been known to make bogus claims about viruses being present.

Thats all I know, it auto up dates each day... and today it threw up Trojan
warnings when I booted it up...
http://www.grisoft.com/doc/1 is there web site !
Ive used it for quite some time and as far as I tell it works better than
most commercial products [especially symantec which actually opens holes].

I think most here know my policy on AV program, so I won't repeat it here.
I doubt seriously that Lupo contains a virus. I haven't heard anything over
at RSC. It's probably a false alarm, something virus programs are quite
found of triggering.
