Hi folks,

I downloaded the demo for CMR from the european website. I used
autodetect for my graphics chipset and when I go to start the game after the
config screens it dumps me to the desktop. ANyone have a suggestion?

Voodoo3/3000 AGP
256 RAM

Same thing here with a very similar setup. I also had problems with TOCA2.
Just deleted both of them and decided not to purchase. Oh well, I guess
I'll wait for RC 2000 or GT2 for the playstation.

I think it is a problem with the resolution, it has to go below 640 X 480
which my machine does not even have a setting for. Try setting your desktop
to the lowest res you have then try it.

I have TOCA2 and it runs great on the same setup. That's one of the reasons
I thought it was odd that a game from the same people would not run
correctly.

CMR runs fine on my V3 3000. I remember there was some issue with the demo
esp. if you have TOCA2 installed as well - some sound file, I can't remeber
exactly. Ah yes, it was qmixer.dll. Best email Codemasters.
