Question about F1 Racing Simulation

I was wondering about the anti-spin, anti-skid, and ABS options for this
game... in real life do most F1 drivers have these, or not?

NO.
If you ever see an F1 race, you will see tyre smoke from spinning
wheels at the start, locked brakes, and many drivers spinning out!

Yes they sure do.  Whenever they spin off the track a fifth wheel
drops from the back end (under the engine) and spins them around the
right way again.

Brian,  Of course they do, usually located in their brains and activated by
their nervous systems! We mere mortals must resort to electronic aids in these
circumstances....I've only had F1RS for 2 days now, and I do feel that the
driving aids help a new driver get to know the tracks and the feel of the sim
much quicker than driving without, thus avoiding massive amounts of
frustration! I LOVE THIS SIM!

I have to agree.

The driving aids sure do help.  Im not much of a sim racer, but am
hooked on F1RS because it has a great balance of realistic simulation,
and fun racing game.  Even on the easiest setting with all the driving
aids on, I still wouldn't call it an arcade racer because it still
gives you a good amount of realism (comparatively speaking).
Yet it still gives new drivers a good chance to learn the aspects of
Formula 1 driving while still maintaining a great degree of fun.

As time goes I will be increasing the level of difficulty, while I'm
getting better at racing.  This definetely makes for a game with a
very high replay value (and I haven't even added the multiplayer
aspect yet).

Marc.

These days the real F1 drivers don't use any electronic aids such as
these.

I tried F1RS without any aids on for the first time today... boy have I
got new respect for those F1 guys now :)
