RBR: Throttle sensitivity

RBR: Throttle sensitivity

Well, after finally getting RBR to run on my system (which runs every other
known racing game and sim right out of the box), I am experiencing a strange
issue.  I am using the black MOMO wheel which luckily detects and works well
in RBR (unlike just about every other controller).  I have patch 1.01.  I
can see the calibration of my wheel and pedals on the controller set-up
screen and the wheel and split axis pedals all operate smoothly and exactly
as one would expect on that screen.  I have adjusted all axes to completely
linear operation (thank you SCi for providing decent adjustment
capabilities).  But, in the game, the throttle reacts much to quickly and
sensitively.  It reacts as though the first 15% of pedal travel contains all
the throttle.  Am I missing something (I hope!)?

Your mouse has moved. Windows must be restarted for the change
to take effect. Reboot now?

Rallying only uses foot to the floor techniques ;-)

I haven't noticed that, I'll go check.

Andi.

Marc, did you experiment with the filtering?

I had exact same feeling of over sensitivity on brake and throttle.
Adjust the Curvature filtering to how you like the throttle and brake to
feel. Takes a bit of playing to set it up so your control behaves
properly but then its all pure fun racing after that. :)

Pete,

Would you be so kind to send me your profile?
I am also struggling with the curves to compensate for the
sensitivity.
And as of yet I do not feel a difference of anything I do cause I
really suck at this game :)
Can't drive for more then 1 min before wrecking the car and certainly
can't take the corners at the gears that are given by the co-driver :(

I do however have almost finished the school with all gold stars

Greetings and read you later!   * Live never to be ashamed if anything you

Why would any fiddling be required when it shows and allows one to adjust it
to 100% linear (which is what I want)?
