NFSU2 demo, anyone tried it?

I saw all these responses coming when I was typing my post. Typical. My
system is rock solid. I have a lot of older sims and games installed that I
still play from time to time and you never know when a new driver or even
the latest minor revision of DirectX will hose one of them. So why take the
chance until I have to install it, instead of installing for a demo that
will probably only be installed for 30 minutes?

You're probably not far off - I got the first NFSU free with a pizza. :)

My advice is to learn how to backup your Windows partition...

Well, I had the same fears, but I installed it anyway to try a couple of demos
(I believe, the latest GTR demo and the Call of Duty: United Offensive one),
and I haven't noticed any problems so far (I had 9.0b previously). But when I
tried the same demos previously, they worked anyway, so I don't know why they
were asking for 9.0c...
