I was reading his entertaining column in the May 2000 PC Gamer on the
effects of drinking and GPL, and he mentions that his sober time at Monza in
the Lotus was a 1:30.11.  You can't imagine how good that made me feel to
know that after just 16 months with this game I had done an even better
time.  Yeah, he mentions that that time wasn't his best ever, but still,
this guy drove race cars for a living, and I work a real job.  If you get
the chance, check out the article.

Could you clarify, is that the UK or US PC Gamer?

Completly useless column... I wished he spent his time actually getting
info on upcoming games, new game technology regarding racing sims. Look
at the other columns in PC Gamer. At least there's a little substance in
the other. Since he made those stupid remarks about the French, I lost
any respect for this dweeb.

It's in the US version.  Hilarious column!  He drank shots of Sambucca and
12 ales for his "scientific study".  :-0
