F1GP2 release date - READ THIS!

I have just phoned up the supplier who I've placed an order with for
F1GP2 and he has told me the release date is 16th July.

F1GP2 is finished - the supplier has seen the completed copy. It's
currently being duplicated by Microprose, and suppliers will receive it a
couple of days before the release date in good time to post orders by the
16th.

Fear not, F1GP2 is finished and almost ready to play... they just want
its release to coincide with the British GP.

The wait is almost over.

Why the hell would they wait to release it? They should just release it
as quick as they can...

They release it at the British GP, because if they would release it now,
nobody would go to Silverstone, we'd all be playing gp2.

Today June 27th, some retailers in France ( and big ones )
Hypermedia and Fnac are still waiting F1GP2 For June 28th. ( tomorrow )

They didn't receive any calls to cancel this date...

I'm sure now they don't read this newsgroup...

Some of us will probably disappointed in a few hours...

        Bye

Not in Lyon nor in Marseille (Fnac) : I've called them today.

They do! Ubi Soft, after having sent every day a fax to the Fnac with "J
moins 15", "J moins 14", etc, have suddendly stopped their faxes. The
new date, apparently, is the 12th.

Tu l'as dit, bouffi !

Mundell#) bibbled:

Let's hope this _is_ the actual release date this time.

I just hope there isn't a postal strike - - the last thing I want is
to see it in the shops but know I've got a copy coming through the
mail... that'd be worse than Chinese water torture, or David Mellor.

***y marketing idiots.

This newsgroup will be deathly silent on the 16th then... :)

I think it is because of the FIA who wants Microprose to release at the British GP and the
promotion purpose. Microprose also needs to respect the official FIA license for the game. This
is just my opinion only.
