Does anyone know of a skidpad for GTR?

I was unable to find any comprehensive info on creating tracks for GTR.
  Google must be broken. :)  I see a few confusing references to a
converters and zmodeler and 3ds but I don't quite get it.  What software
do I need to edit/create tracks for GTR.
