What are the dimensions of ACT LABS's Force Feedback wheel and their RS
Shifter? What of the clamps? What is the maximum thickness of a desk for
the clamp to effectively keep the wheel stationary? Are there any
photos of the clamp? None of the photos I've seen in ACT LABS's website
has pictures of the clamp. Or am I wrong to presume a clamp (perhaps
they're sucton cups)?

The wheel is about 15 cm (about 6 in) in diameter, the shifter is about 4in
wide, on my desk which is about 1in thick it clamps perfectly, it should be
okay on a desk from almost 2in to 0.7 in I would think.

The act labse tech support is REALLY good, they answer fast and accurately
to mails, ask them to have the excat details...

Besides that the wheel is REALLY great.

Wheel base is 15" wide and 10" deep plus needs extra depth for the
cartridge, Shifter is 6 3/4" wide.

I queried the max desk thickness (mine is 40mm) before I bought this wheel
and had the following reply from Act Labs:

I'm very impressed with the clamps - they are sturdy, hold the wheel very
securely indeed, and are operated by two large wheels that even my young
daughter can use without difficulty.
