How do you tell what class a specific race is in DTR?  I tried my first
online races last night and all I found were LM's.  I didn't see anything on
the menu that let me know who was racing what.  Really pissed off the guys
in my first race (sorry again, BTW, guys) when I joined with my Stocker.

BTW, does the patch fix the stupid sounds?

Don, look at the server names I have seen servers for stocks
and pro stocks. Also check the descriptions, the info may be
put there as well.
The sounds aren't in this patch and some fine tuning is being
done to them. After giving the sounds out to the beta testers
and getting some feedback Barry is trying to do some more
fine tuning with them. Because of the limitations in the
game it has required a lot of time to get it right.
Look for them to be posted very shortly on www.bhmotorsports.com
we will let you know when they are there.

Thank you VERY much for your answers.
Don't remember seeing a "description" field beside the server names (I'm
talking about inside GTESpy [or whatever that's called]) but I'll look
tonight.  I did WATCH a couple of races and that was WAY cool.  Gotta look
in my manual (yes, I have a legal copy) to see how I can change views.
DAMN shame about those sounds.  That's really all I thought needed to be
patched.  Well, that and the force feedback.  And the lockups.

Barry, worked a 12 hour shift at work and went with only 2 hours
sleep to finish it off the best he could. There are still some things that
he can't change due to limits within the game and hopefully it will be
out very shortly.

Regardless of how I came across, I certainly understand that a person's
got other things to do.  I wasn't intentionally complaining.  I, for one,
appreciate ANYTHING that's an effort to fix something and it doesn't cost me
anything!

Don, the patch should be going up shortly for the sound!

<saliva dripping> Thank you.  Damn DTR, haven't had time for N3 since I
installed the damn game! hehe.  I have a couple of offline racing leagues I
want to run in... now... no time... and now... new sounds.... oh no - no
more sleep....

    Damn DTR....

Haven't had time to STUDY them yet, but those TRACK Guides sure look
EXCELLENT!! Great job, especially with the driving line graphic!!

Don, the driving line is crucial. I have found I can take a
very poor setup and run competitively if I get in the proper
groove.
