ah yes... Looks like another project which he will never be able to
finish...

What does he try to accomplish? Nowadays tribes of people are working full
time on a game... What does he think he can do alone with his few
'parttimers'?

Its arrogant little ***ers like you is why he is trying it.
At least he is doing something.
What was the last race sim YOU did?

Ah, yes, of course. No-one can possibly do most of a racing sim on their own
these days, can they? Someone should tell Geoff Crammond that, as he doesn't
seem to have noticed.... :-)

I have to agree with James here, at least he his having ago. It may take
hoads of programmers to write games these days, but I also feel a few
dedicated people with enough interest in what they are doing can achieve
amazing results. I seem to remember reading that some new sim is being
written by two people, it may end up being another game or it may end up
being something very special but at least they have the guts to give it ago.

I dunno.  Linus Torvalds accomplished quite a bit that way.

That's World Sports Cars.  Can't believe (based on screenshots we've
seen) only 2 people could do all that!!

Previous problems were trying to decode the work of companies
that would not provide any assistance. Which is undestandable.
However this is his project from the start. Easier to finish a project
if you have access to ALL of the parts!

Ok boys, that's it. Pack up your gear and go home. No need to try
anything. Just open up that can of beer and sink into your favourite
couch and ask the wife to change the TV channels for you.

Aagh to uninspired even to finish this senten..

I know there were at least two other open source racing sim
projects started but I know one and possibly both fizzled out.
Unfortunatly I lost both bookmarks after my last drive format.

Anyway good luck to Paul Hoad and anyone else who gets involved
in the project!
