Well here we go again screwed by the Glimmer Twins Bernie and Max.

Can't wait for five years with no Silverstone, No Spa, No Williams, No
Ferarri, No McLaren.  And the "F1 World Championship" is decided in the
Dubai GP by a bunch of Jordans and Minardi's with Judd spec engines.

How popular is F1 in Canada?

They have a former WDC driver in the series.

I could see dropping Indy (which they moved to the spring to coincide
with Montreal FFS), keeping Belgium off the calendar, getting rid of
the new shitty Nurburgring (do we really need *2* races at Mickey
Mouse tracks in Germany), etc etc but dropping Canada imho is akin to
dropping Silverstone or Brazil.

What kind of ***ing country do I live in? Huge anti tobacco campaign all
over the TV, and now it's cancelling the F1 race that I was FINALLY going to
see for the first time next year.

But, there's absolutely no problems with every second commercial on the TV
being a bunch of drunk people yelling "I am Canadian".

Feel free to associate the country with *** but god forbid the county be
associated with motorsports. Obviously there's flaws in my arguement, but
I'm a little pissed off...

They would better forbid "push" adverti***t and let them only
advertise on the cars and driver suits :) I hate those 30+min
commercial breaks, no matter what they advertise :(

Mixed feelings for me...it sucks that we lost our GP, but it was an ugly
chicane-fest anyways - now if they could only move it back to Mosport!

That reminds me...

I meant to take a moment to thank NBC for showing us a lap or two of racing
between the commercials last week.

I hope the next time around they give the whole year to Fox.  NBC, and their
announcers, SUCK.  Heaven forbid they actually discuss something technical
during the race.
