We NEED a patch or etc. to "uncheck" the boxes.I have been using keyboard
for brake and gas(for years!!) even with Gpl,and N4 seems stupid when at a
small track (with all that enabled),it KILLS lap times.I drive inside alot
and it kills me.ANyone else?

I really want a solution(like HEat,it has an adj for sensitvity for
pads.etc.),before I can take online racing seriously. Its like having a
MANDATED limiter because I dont want some slick, gaudy, expensive wheel taking
up space on my desk.I do fine with a JSTICK and see NO reason to be
"punished" for it.

We shouldn't, he doesn't want to have a wheel taking up space on his
desk. Maybe we should buy him a larger desk instead? :)

Yes,Im patched,,

My problem aint room..I have two AMD K7s and a 233 P1,

Three puters, means three wheels for one game...(Ok 2,233 is my music server)
besides,if I HAD to have a wheel,it would be Force FB,and they aint cheap.

I just REALLY dislike being forced into a control option.I have fiddled a
little bit with it since being patched, and it seems more
stable(steering),but the intrusion of traction control is still a bummer.Abs
is never an issue, just the tracion control.

If there is an adjustment in an ini file, that is better than nothing.I have
no complaints with the game(other than its gonna make me upgrade
VCARDS(thats plural))as far as crashing,or online(im a dial up,so thats out
for now) works great.

Im really just looking for a tip on that, not on what I wish could do(In my
dream world,I COULD have a Jstick(for my FSs and cycle games)and a wheel and
pedals(for you know what)(at least pads are cheap)and those virtual reality
pods Little E has four of,but since Im blessed with enough sense to buy real
things that matter(gas, bread, kit kats, insurance, cableTV),I cant afford my
own arcade heaven just yet.

Tips on the problem at hand only plz

GPL automatically gave you helps when using keyboard for controls.  Now
you just know they're on :I

If you need someone to buy a wheel for, buy one for my 3 year old son. I
gave him my wore out nascar pro thinking
no way he will notice it not working exactly right. Man was I surprised,
after about a week with nascar heat he came to me and said daddy the car
just want turn when I want it to. So I put him on my computer with nascar 4
and he ran a full lap at dega without crashing. So pitch in and buy him
nascar pro digital or something so I can have my
f^&*%%$32 computer back.

I will then just say that Im being discriminated against, lol!

I run two  Puters at once and I bought a wheel for PSX long ago,in a galaxy
fa far away, and it was trash (peddles especially) in two months.Sticks last
longer here(no pun intended),and I dont like to be forced into ABS,etc.

SO....this be my last post unless someone has a remedy and emails me.

HAPPY RACES ALL!

You can buy some wheels and pedals for LESS than a joystick.

Giving your 3-year old kid a worn-out, non-working wheel..
Tsssk sir, you don't deserve getting your f^&*%%$32 computer back for
a long while!
