Help! redline.dll

I'm running GPL with win 2k.  I had some missing glide files when it started
up, but now it wants redline.dll  It's nowhere on my harddrive, or my
friend's who happens to be running the same video card (although win 98)
does someone have this file?  or know how to solve my problem?  I really
want to play GPL!!!
GPL starts in software mode (no problem) but when I switch to 3dfx in
options, it says I have to restart the program.... and when I do, i get the
can't find redline.dll warning.  and then it starts with 'none' for 3d
adapters again.

Please Help!!!!!!!

Hi,

Don't know if this helps, but the redline.dll as far as I know in GPL is the
rendition driver

It falls back to Rendition accelerated mode (RRedline) when it
detects a problem in 3dfx accelerated mode (Glide).  Getting
GPL up and running in Windows 2000 on 3dfx hardware
will continue to be a pain until 3dfx releases a full featured
WDM driverset (less than four weeks to go 3dfx, time is
running out).

The combination that worked for me was the NT4 driverset
plus my old 3dfx patch that prevents video mode switches.

Basically this message means you don't have Glide installed correctly in
your w2k box. W2k doesn't ship with Glide drivers, just 2d drivers for
voodoo cards. Got to http://on.to/w2k to get Glide working ... Then go to
http://www.the-fastlane.com/ and get the Banshee fix.
