gui.ntli.net:

Ok,  thanks for the clarification.  All I heard was he would not race
because of the crash at the same corner as last year.

nothing has changed - except for the mass of the testes of drivers. F1
drivers are a disgrace to their heritage - can you imaging one of these
girlie-men in a Lotus in 67 at Spa? Well no, neither could I because NOT one
of the guys on the present grid would even dare - I remember Coulthard
trying one of 1930 AUs and saying how terrified he was ... no kidding.

COWARDS the lot of em. And why the hell are they paid millions anyway? For
their skill? How much skill does one Mr. Albers posess I wonder ...

there.

...
***tard?  Well done.  Your command of english is exemplary.

About the only thing mindless in this post is your diatribe.

Sometimes the line between courage and outright stupidity can be pretty
blurry!

If you went parachutung and at the last minute the parachute company
rang you on your mobile just b4 you jumped and said "Ummm, gooday Alex.
About that chute mate, we cant 100% guarantee it will open. It's up to you"

    What would you do?

(Hey, I think there's a TV series in there somewhere - LOL)

If I were paid 20 million bucks for taking the risk - and know that no-one
had died in 10 years even when it didn't open - I think I'd take the risk.

But your analogy doesn't work - hitting the wall, as Ralf has shown us
twice, is not fatal. It just hurts. And 20 million bucks is probably worth a
little pain - hell, I know guys that do this kinda stuff for free.

This is one of those relativity things.

Depends on the relative size of ones brain vs. ones balls.

Some people have a situation which will let them appear to be very brave
indeed.  ;o)

If I were your son I'd make sure that will was properly prepared.

There are reports of people surviving failed parachute jumps - pedant.

A pedant is one concerned with syntax - highlighting that fact that your
metaphor is half-baked is not pedantry - it is simple logic. Falling from
20,000 feet without a parachute - and driving an F1 car are, alas, hardly
comparable - at least, to anyone with any degree of intelligence.

Sorry, that response is past the expiry date, and thus invalid.
