Hi all
A quick question on the realism of F1GP2....how realistic is it?
i.e. does the real-world final qualifying on saturday for 1 hour only get
directly translated into one hour of time for F1GP2? Indycar 2 only
gives you 10 minutes, which leaves no room for error.
Also, does anyone know how if you REALLY have to heat up your tyres and
brakes, like indycar 2?
Finally, pit stops. I really want a lolly-pop man with "1st gear". How
do pit stops work? Anyone know?

Hopefully very realistic.
Yeah it is supposed to be like that. Also if you want more time to
qualify in ICR2 just edit the QUAL line in that tracks txt file so the 10
reads something like 60 for 60mins qualifying.
Think so yeah.
I have seen a shot of this and yes you do have to lolly pop dude and
refuller!!! looks excellent. If you want anymore info I suggest you check

ICR2 can be edited to give you as long as you like, change the QUAL line
in the text file (e.g. clevland.txt) from 0 10 to 0 30 - voila, you have
30 mins.
GP2 gives you the time you specify in the options screen, I think up to
2 hours, but certainly one hour (I can't be bothered quitting Win95 to
check!!).
