N2002 mirror adjustments?

Is there a way to adjust the mirror in N2002?

Every time I look at a replay I'm amazed at how much closer the car behind
me was than I thought it was.  ("Objects in mirror are closer than they
appear").  And the perspective seems wrong too.  I mean, if a car is tucked
up drafting right behind me, I shouldn't be able to see its front bumper.

If there's a way to adjust the mirror, what do you suggest for settings?

Thanks.

Related....but not exactly the same question:  Is there a way to adjust
where the mirror is displayed on the screen.  Currently...it is dead
center....I would like to be able to move it around a tad bit.  Anybody have
an idea how that can be accomplished?

Do you not use the roll cage in the mirror. When it is just the big old
plain mirror, it is not easy to judge distances OR tell if a car is beside
you since it actually still apears to be behind in the plain view/

With the interior drawn in, you can see cars out the 'opera' windows and
know that they are beside instead of behind you AND it draws in the spoiler
on the deck lid and you indeed lose sight of their front bumber as they
close in on you rear end. I think pressing the 'N' key while in-car rotates
through the various levels of detail in the mirror. I run with the interior
drawn, but other items left out of the mirror vieww(smoke, grandstands, etc)
as I think there is 3 levels of detail to choose from IIRC.

Otherwise, when a car is right on your butt, he appears a car length behind.
When he is in the right side of the mirror he is BESIDE you on the right,
same goes for being in the left side of the mirror.

I could not race without the interior option that gives me a better
perception of the where the nearby cars really are, the plain wide open
mirror view does not work well for this IMHO. The only drawback is that it
is somehwhat of a FPS downer...

I can't run with the cage on.  Way to intrusive.  I am somewhat of a
hypocrite because I want as much "simulation" as possible but the interior
on just give no perception  of distance and closeness to me.  And just hella
irritating.

When *I* had the interior turned on, it was too easy for a car to sneak up on
me unnoticed.  It would blend in with the clutter in the mirror.  Considering
how many times I get lapped in a typical race, THAT view definitely wouldn't
work...

This is exactly why NASCAR needs to make them run side view mirrors lol.

I wonder if someone could repaint the image so its less "busy" so that the
cars would stand out more. Maybe even convert the ooverlay into the old N3
panel style mirror.
