New NASCAR Tracks?

by Crankst » Thu, 14 Sep 1995 04:00:00

Well, after having bought NASCAR Racing about 2 weeks ago, I've become
a real NASCAR junkie!  I actively look out for televised races and am
about to buy the track pack add-on.  I've noticed from perusing some
web sites on NASCAR racing that there are quite a few more tracks that
are part of the NASCAR circuit that Papyrus has not yet released for
their sim.  I'm wondering if anyone out there knows if Papyrus plans
to release a second track pack that more fully covers the real NASCAR
Winston Cup circuit?

Now if anyone can give me tips on how to drive (and pass!) in traffic,
I would be very grateful. ;>  I can get decent speeds in practice, but
invariably lose the race as I smash into walls trying to pass cars
that are about a lap down (I play at 98% strength).

The only ones missing are Daytona and Indy, and from what I hear,
don't hold your breath anytime soon!

Where do you crash at? going into the corners?

Go #6 Mark Martin and #16 Ted Musgrave - Jack Roush Racing!!

Got the Track Pack? Do so and you'll have evuhthang except Daytona which has
been Purchased by Sega and made available only to pimply faced trolls.

Here's ONE.  Slow is fast.  Concentrate on keeping in the line NOT logging
the fastest lap.  The only place you won't use your brakes is a Talladega.
Going up the hill is your worst enemy.  Learn to drive the perfect line, THEN
you'll go fast.
