LF1 is about to start. I just want to say a couple things. First, I
want to make sure everyone is aware of the hex settings. Some of you have
the hex files in which I sent you or you d/l from AOL. If you didn't receive
them and you have the hex editor, the settings for the Pro are from 790 to
849, 750 to 780 for the Novices. If you don't have the editor, or even the
modem patch, let me know so I can send them to you. In the mean time, you'll
have to run without the hex settings, and since we are scoring by time only,
shouldn't make a big difference, the hex settings are for your enjoyment.
Second, I want to remind everyone about the levels. The Novice drivers
MUST run on Rookie level and use auto-braking. The Pro drivers MUST run on
either Pro or Ace level and may only use those options availible on those
levels and auto-shifting. Indestructable Mode for both levels is illegal,
in other words, you can't use them.
Third, I'd like to tell everyone to send in your results as soon as
possible. Don't wait until the last minute unless you absoultly have to.
Please include with your results you team name with engine, car #, level, and
email address.
Fourth, please use the champ season for all races.
Finally, I'd like to wish everyone good luck. This should be a very
exciting season.
Quals for Phoenix are due Wed by 10pm ET.
Anyone interested in participating needs a copy of the LF1 editor.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE A COPY OF ONE I MAY BE ABLE TO SEND IT TO YOU IF
HAVE AN FTP SITE I CAN PUT SOME FILES ON. IF INTERESTED SEND ME AN
THE EDITOR AND NO FTP SITE I SET YOU SETTING AS STATED ABOVE.
