If the demo sucks, then don't play it. If you like GP2 then stick with
that. And most of us here in the states pay a flat rate for local phone
calls and internet access. So if we download it and hate it ( most
unlikely ) all we lost was the time it took to download it. And even that
time was only wasted if the downloader stayed right there and watched it
download. Thanks for you opinion, such as it is, but anyone who wants the
demo should go ahead and grab it. Little thing we like to refer to as '
Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Nascar2, ( I mean happiness ) '

That seems to be my opinion of GP2 . I feel N2 has a better driving model
and feels more realistic same with ICR2 for that matter. At least Papyrus
offers demos to see if the sim is to your liking, unlike purchasing GP2
only to discover it was overly hyped. I prefer Papyrus sims. I
don' t like overly done texture mapping and appreciate Papyrus approach.
I guess it's just what one prefers.

That is how I feel about GP2. In my opinion N2 and ICR2 are better due to
the drive model. I'm really not a fan of overly textured graphics which
look too busy. At least Papyrus offers demos for which to base an opinion
prior
to a buying decision. I'm disappointed in GP2 plus out $45.00. Papyrus does
a
fine job with graphics and I hope they do not fall in the vortex of overly
textured
mapped graphics at the expense of whats really important drive model and
realism.
Of course this is all subjective. Just my .02
