I saw it on sale for $12.00 and I could of sworn I read somewhere that its uses
D3D or 3dfx.Does it? If it does is it worth it? Thanks

It doesn't use either.

The first version was just Direct X. They then brought out a version that
was MMX.

The MMX version is very quick if you've got MMX otherwise it's pretty slow
really.
