Who has taken the time to check out the latest "F1 Sim" from Edios....a
follow up to Officially 'Bad' Formula 1 Racing. The new demo is available at
http://www.racesimcentral.net/,but I just can't bring myself to waste my time
(60mb) without having heard a single breath about it online anyplace???

Which is really odd because if nothing else I would expect several GPL
fanatics to be raking it over the coals...unless - its not even worth that
???

Graphics: good, especially in 800x600x32
Sound: good
Effects: good

But it really is just an arcade game trying to be a sim.

car physics are shit
tracks are shit.

Don't waste your time :)

You should just put that as your .sig ;/

I told people it was ***when the demo first came out and then got
flamed for not giving it a full review or more than five minutes of my
time. F1WGP doesn't need more than five minutes to evaluate.

Tried the demo - couldn't get it to feel right no matter how hard I tried. I
didn't even think it looked that good.
I did actually enjoy OF1GP for a little while but this seems like a step
backwards to me.

I did quite like the interface though (well, it was a huge improvement over
their last effort), and the "in helmet" view was a scream!

See? Just have to mention "kindred spirit" and they start showing up

  So true but it does have one thing that makes it interesting,if you
cycle through the views you will one from "inside the helmet", using
the G forces, kinda fun
