Is there a way to increase the number of racer servers listed? Seems
like I saw something about a line that can be edited to increase the
number.

in the multiplayer.ini look for this line

Concurrent Server Updates="200" // defaults to 40 which should be good for
everyone,

I have it at 200. that makes sure you get all the servers.

default location
:\Program Files\rFactor\UserData\<your player name>

also there are a couple of server utilities that will display the online
servers without having to boot up rfactor. More info over at RSC.
you can't, apparently, join a passworded session from the outside, but that
may be fixed in a patch...
