A couple of CART (ICR2) questions

by Gavin Wilke » Wed, 08 Aug 2001 09:39:56

Greetings.
I have a problem: when I go to load a new car in the Windows version, it
asks me if I want it to load the new car, to which I click yes, yet no
change is evident. Any ideas??

Second question: Where can I go to find some good tracks and cars/carsets?
I've searched on just about every site (Sim***world, etc.) yet I have not
been able to find anything of quality. Any help??

Thanks in advance.

  you are talking about a sim that is older than the dinosaurs in
computer*** years.  There are some new carshapes out there that improve
the look of icr2 but it still is an old old program.  The Nascar Heat and
Cartcs2k patches are graphically much superior.  And even the physics aren't
that bad either.  Both patches have a variety of cart tracks in the works.
  To import a car, it must be named the exact same as the car file it is
replacing.  Export a car, exit ICR2, go to the main ICR2 folder and note the
file name.  ( I can't even begin to remember the format.)  then rename the
file you want to import to the exact same name, re-start icr2 and THEN
import the car graphics.
