I have done a lap of 8:34.*** in my lotus and was on the edge al the way (I
thought) but having seen the fast lap of sub 8 mins I see a few places where
I could be faster,but it won't be easy.
Congrats! I havent spent much time at the Ring because there are only
24 hours in a day and I would like to complete at least 1 lap in that
timeframe ;)
I need a save feature in GPL so I can get a few hours of sleep in between
me flipping my car back rightside <VBG>
Seriously... It doesnt matter if some of the top dogs are getting 8 min
laps. Everytime you better your own lap its an accomplishment!
Heck... I was doing cartwheels the first time I got sub 1:10s at
Watkins. Now Im down to whopping 1:08s ROFLMAO

Yeah, the Ring really is a driver's track. I even managed to do a
8:59.xx in the Cooper =)

Wolfgang Woeger did one in 7:59.35. The replay and the setup are both
available. I sat in the car for the replay, and the guy is awesome.
Almost enough to make you give up.
