EXACT Braking Times and Distances of a McLaren and of a Ferrari

I can't understand a bit of the math so I'll just assume it a recipe for a martini and leave it at that. :-)

Plus, everything you say makes a lot more sense to me, and I agree.

But, same car, same conditions...   Nigel Mansell would outbrake Ayrton Senna 99% of the time.

So. Exact is out of the measurement range.

I'm sorry to say this, even though your math could be correct, but there is a
lot more involved in seeing which car breaks quicker then the numbers you're
punching in. Here are a few points to concider:

Perfect ...
That's the reason Mansell was a 3 time world champion and forever known
as the best pilot of all times.

But he didn't say "brake"....he said "break".
Totally different and, to be perfectly blunt, Senna certainly did
"outbreak" Mansell!

If only you knew the Senna fan that I am. None the less, Mansell is a very talented late braker. He could go in deeper than anyone. But only if he was mad. :-)

Well, as he was from Brazil I'd say that he would have been heavily into
the Samba or Rhumba or Bossa Nova or maybe even the Tango.
But "break dancin'"........I think not! :o)
