rec.autos.simulators

Having  just  started  using GPANYL15 (?) windows  lap  and  race
analyser I found I could never get it to look at any of my  laps,
it saying that the laps were no continous. The problem is not  as
it  says  in  the  documentation, eg... jumping  onto  the  grass
etc... as I drove at phoenix and Monaco just to make sure.... has
anyone got any ideas?

I gave up on both version I'd seen; after loading a .prf file in and
choosing a lap it crashed with some obscure Visual BASIC error, so I
gave up.  It hasn't done anything to enhance my view of VB programs
(ie. they're always crap). I settled for a quick hack to pull
complete laps out (I'll put it on didnt.doit when I've tidied it
up a bit) and a shareware Windows graphing package called FGraph
(look on CICA or any of its mirrors for util/fgraph.zip).

Use version 3.17b! The file ANYLPAK.ZIP (at didnt.doit.wisc.edu, in the
/PublicFiles/Racing/F1GP/Editors directory) contains GPPERF, version 1.5
of GPANALYS _and_ an extra GPANALYS executable which upgrades the program
to 3.17b. I presume this will fix your problem...
