nascar99- how to pit?

I just go Nascar 99 and when I pull up for a pit stop, the pit crew does
nothing.  Am I supposed to hit any keys.  Any help would be great. thanks.

The pit crew is not animated, so they don't look like they do anything.
Make sure you stop using the brakes, and not reverse, and listen for the
sound of the air-wrench.  Ned will let you know when they're done.

Pardone moi.
Sounded an aweful lot like Ned to me, and no one ever told me different.
Now Kyle Petty would make a good spotter - at least fun to listen to.  And
between making fun of your driving and jokes about the other drivers' paint
jobs, he might throw in a "Woah!  You almost nailed that guy!"

Hmmm... I thought it was Ned, too.  Learning something new every minute.

I want to see Ward Burton as the spotter.

I see, you are talking about Papyrus Nascar Racing 1999, not really
Nascar 99.

The pit crew is stationary.  They are doing their thing, you just can't
see it.

When you pull in the pits, make sure that you can see just the bottom of the
pitboard in the upper bart of your windshield and then hit whatever key that
you have designated as the brake.
