I'd agree the children's market will fuel Harry to bring in more millions
of $$ than LOTR. But will it be better? Not for moi!

I don't know, LOTR will appeal to all ages. Potter certainly couldn't
even approach LOTR for visual appeal or entertainment value in my book

A teacher of mine read The Hobbit to us in one of my early grade school
years, waaaaaaay back when.

I envy your daughter; her innocence and imagination. I wish I could read
The Hobbit now and still *almost* believe in dragons and orcs and elves.

I'm sorry, but I read the first book in the LOTR trilogy for school, The
Fellowship of the Ring, and thought it was one of the most absolutely annoying
piles of ***ever written. I just don't get into that kind of literature, I
can't help it. :(

Oh well, gotta stop typing now. HOCKEY SEASON' STARTING! :D :D :D :D

Wings? Blues? Kings? What do these teams have in common? That's right,
they are all teams the Stanley Cup Champion Avalanche have defeated in
the playoffs during the last two years. I'm going to the home opener on
Tuesday to watch them hang up that lovely championship banner.

Even without Bourque and Forsberg (that wuss), the Avs should have
enough to take the west. That is unless the Wings acquire some extra
strength Geritol for all the senior citizens they keep acquiring.

Time to drop the puck.
