Hawaii?? How Do I Get There??

by Keith Brow » Tue, 03 Sep 1996 04:00:00

I would like to know how to get to the in-line racing through Hawaii.  I
was just at a freind's house and he had it.  The address he gave me
didn't work.  I REALLY want to get in on this.  Could anyone point me in
the right direction??

Thanks in advance

Keith

The Hawaii executable is temporarily unavailable on www.sierra.com.
It will be back up this week (sorry).  You can find it now on AOL &
CompuServe (keyword/go SIERRA).

Being a newbie to the nascar on line racing I can offer a few
suggestions.
1 - Download the Hawai.exe file found on the Sierra page to an
unchanged nascar directory.
2- Follow ALL the setup instructions amd log into the board.
3- Do not expext to go racin' as soon as you sign up. It takes a few
days for them to get you on the system. I ahd to wait a couple days to
get access.
4- Once racin' just get the feel of the track and watch the other guys
go flying by. Be sure to not get in the way though...(they really take
this serious)

If you need the EXE file it can be found through several nascar page
links. Just go searching and you will stumble across it. Good luck

Following all of the setup insructions and logging in probably takes about 10 minutes
(give or take) and they tell you not to expect to be able to race right away......but I
was racing my first race within minutes of setting my account up....all I did was dial
the number!  I know, it suprised me too!!!
