GP2 How to change tiretype???

have some problems with the game.
in qualify i allways slower but in race i allways have the
fastest round!!!
i miss the menu to change my tiretype and so i must allways
drive my qualify with B or C Tires...this sux!!

plz help me !!!!

In Formula One now, GoodYear give all the teams the same tyre compound
for all races, all teams and all sessions (qualifying, racing etc) so
this is how it is supposed to be.
